Job Summary:

REPORTING TO THE MANAGER FOR PRIMARY HEALTH CARE, CHRONIC DISEASE MANAGEMENT, THE TELEHEALTH COORDINATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ASSESSMENT, DEVELOPMENT AND COORDINATION OF REGIONAL TELEHEALTH INITIATIVES AS WELL AS THE DEVELOPMENT OF RESOURCE MATERIALS, AWARENESS PROGRAMMING AND PROMOTION FOR TELEHEALTH UTILIZATION. THE TELEHEALTH COORDINATOR PROMOTES THE USE OF TELEHEALTH EQUIPMENT FOR CLINICAL AND EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AS APPROPRIATE. SOME TRAVEL IS REQUIRED WITHIN THE REGION. THE TELEHEALTH COORDINATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR RESPONDING TO SCHEDULED NETWORK REQUESTS, ACCEPTING OR DECLINING NETWORK EVENTS BASED ON SYSTEM CAPACITY, INCLUDING THE COORDINATION AND PRIORITIZATION OF ALL TELEHEALTH EVENTS WITHIN THE REGION. THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND ANALYSIS OF MONTHLY, QUARTERLY, AND ANNUAL TELEHEALTH UTILIZATION STATISTICS FOR PAPHR. Experience: The completion of a degree in health sciences and/or administration Relevant Education/experience related to health services delivery in tertiary and/or rural locations Valid Drivers license and access to a vehicle. Experience:

MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE IN A RELATED FIELD REQUIRED EG. PARTICIPATION ON A PRIMARY HEALTH TEAM; EXPERIENCE IN ADULT EDUCATION, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, OR HEALTH CARE DELIVERY. RELEVANT ADVANCED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE RELATED TO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, HEALTH SYSTEMS, POPULATION HEALTH PROGRAMMING. VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND ACCESS TO A VEHICLE. CVA VEHICLE MAY BE AVAILABLE FOR SOME TRAVEL
