The Volunteer Services Department is in need of caring, compassionate and committed volunteers to fulfill the following service positions:
Patient Navigators – Day Surgery – Victoria Hospital
Patient Navigators improve the experience for surgical patients by ensuring they are in the right place at the right time. Shifts: 6:30 – 9:30 a.m.; 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.; 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. Monday – Friday
Patient Information (Greeter) – Victoria Hospital
Duties include directing patients and visitors to the various departments for treatments, tests, x-rays, or to other destinations in the hospital. Shifts: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. or 12 – 3 p.m. Monday – Friday
Meals on Wheels - Home Care Prince Albert, Birch Hills, Kinistino
Adult volunteers are needed to assist with delivering meals to Home Care clients. Shifts: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
“On Call” Volunteers
Extra volunteers are often needed for the long term care residents on an “on-call” basis, to assist with outings, parties, social gatherings, shopping trips, taking residents to appointments, etc. Shifts: As needed
