The Volunteer Services Department is in need of caring, compassionate and committed volunteers to fulfill the following service positions:
Patient Information (Greeter) – Victoria Hospital
Duties include directing patients and visitors to the various departments for treatments, tests, x-rays, or to other destinations in the hospital. Shifts: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
Emergency Department Volunteer Navigator – Victoria Hospital
Volunteers provide navigational assistance to families/visitors of patients in the Emergency Department. Evening shifts available for those who work during the day. Shifts: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.; 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.; 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday – Sunday: Once or twice per week.
Meals on Wheels - Home Care Prince Albert, Birch Hills, Kinistino
Adult volunteers are needed to assist with delivering meals to Home Care clients. Shifts: 11:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Information Desk Navigator (Greeter) – 1521 Building
Duties include directing clients and the public to the various departments for appointments, or to other destinations within the 1521 Building. Shifts: Monday - 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Tuesday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
