Highlighted Opportunities

The Volunteer Services Department of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region is in need of caring, compassionate and committed volunteers to fulfill the following service positions:

“On Call” Volunteers – All Long Term Care Facilities

Extra volunteers are often needed for the long term care residents on an “on-call” basis, to assist with outings, parties, social gatherings, shopping trips, taking residents to appointments, etc. Shifts: As needed

Gail’s Brigade – Victoria Hospital

Volunteers offer friendship, companionship and provide support for Palliative patients. Duties may include nail care, hand or foot massages, shaves, or haircuts/styling. Shifts: 1 – 2:30 p.m. (Flexible) Monday – Friday, once per week.

Aquacise - Home Care - Prince Albert

Assist Home Care clients at the pool with Aquacise Program. Assist with getting the clients ready for the exercise program and assist clients in the pool.Shifts: 1 ½ hours weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays
