Visitor restrictions are in place at the Hafford Special Care Centre after a respiratory outbreak was declared on Sunday, February 4, 2018 by Dr. Khami Chokani, Medical Health Officer.

Visitor restrictions are in place at the Hafford Special Care Centre after a respiratory outbreak was declared on Sunday, February 4, 2018 by Dr. Khami Chokani, Medical Health Officer.

There are six individuals with respiratory like illness and 2 staff members.

Isolation precautions and visitor limitations are in place.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority reminds the public that proper hand hygiene reduces the risk of getting or spreading illnesses. Visitors to any health care facility are asked to perform hand hygiene upon entering and leaving the facility. Anyone who is ill is also asked to not visit any health care facility, whether it is on outbreak status or not.
