The Prince Albert Parkland Health Region hosted its Volunteer Long Service Recognition Awards on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. More than 250 volunteers and organizations were recognized for their service to the health region’s patients, long-term care residents, and community clients.
Her Honour the Honourable Vaughn Solomon Schofield, Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, was the special guest.
Neil Headrick was the Master of Ceremonies.
Greeting and appreciation was also expressed by:
- Brenda Abrametz, chairperson, Prince Albert Parkland RHA
- John Swystun, chairperson, Mont St. Joseph Home Inc. Board of Directors
- Cecile Hunt, Chief Executive Officer, Prince Albert Parkland Health Region
Special Entertainment was provided by the Iron Nation Drum Group from Big River, and Kayleigh and Brock Skomorowski of Prince Albert.
