Due to a staffing shortage of Registered Nurses, the Spiritwood Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC) will be closed November 11 and 12.

The Spiritwood Primary Health Care Clinic remains open Monday to Saturday, and appointments can be made by calling 306-883-4400. Individuals who require emergency service should call 9-1-1. If individuals have non-emergency concerns, they are encouraged to make an appointment with their primary care provider, or call the Saskatchewan HealthLine at 8-1-1.

The Spiritwood CEC is normally open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, including statutory holidays.

The Prince Albert Parkland Health Region continues efforts to fill Registered Nurse positions. These positions require additional training for emergency centres, which can take several months to complete.

The Health Region will continue to provide updates for any future service disruptions when they occur.
