Our clinic is a smaller clinic with four family medical physicians and nine support staff. We operate at a clinic that is within Super Store which attracts many walk ins as well as a regular patient load. The patients appreciate the ability to shop or run errands if waiting for appointments. There is good accessibility to the clinic and a pharmacy within the store that allows for quick turnaround time for patients when prescriptions are needed.
As a clinic, we are equipped to do ECG’s, basic lab, pulmonary function testing as well as minor surgical procedures. More comprehensive lab and X ray including CT is available through community lab and hospital services. Our hours are 9-9 Monday to Friday and Saturday 9-4. There is usually a walk in doctor and a doctor doing booked appointments during the same shift time. Our shifts usually run from 9-3/3-9 during weekdays and only one shift on Saturday. For patient information and charting, we use Accuro EMR. We are a flexible group working well together covering for each other’s patients and shifts when necessary.
At our clinic, your income is based on your total MCIB and third party billings with a competitive overhead percentage that covers your office space, support staff wages, medical equipment and supplies. Any cash collected for various private forms are paid to the physician 100%. Hospital billings are charged simply an administrative fee of 10%.
